Nice Côte d’Azur Airport: South dike feasibility and diagnostics
CORINTH ENGINEERING was chosen to conduct the land-based and underwater diagnostics, and a feasibility study with regards to the following:
• the rockfill bund protection the protects the helicopter area, which was severely damaged during the storm of November 5, 2014 (Mike Sierra zone).
• the southern non-dammed zone located next to the FATO (Mike Echo zone).
The study performed includes:
• the photographic and terrestrial diagnostic of both zones with the assistance of a diver for the underwater portion;
• proposals for development solutions adapted to the Contracting Authority’s budget allowance;
• an estimate of the proposed cost of the works and project management for the VISA/DET/AOR/OPR/GPA portion;
• the production of a preliminary schedule of the works.
