Repair work to the Port of Santa Lucia’s breakwater
Project management assistance mission
The Raphaëlois Port Authority manages and operates 4 ports throughout the St Raphaël municipality. The main facility is the Port of Santa Lucia.
This port is located on the southernmost tip of Saint-Raphaël and operates as a marina with more than 1,600 berths.
In 2013, the Port Authority conducted an inspection of the central and southern parts of the breakwater protecting the Port of Santa Lucia.
This diagnosis highlighted the need to strengthen the open sea breakwater.
In this context, the Raphaëlois Port Authority has entrusted us with a project management assistance mission.
Mission purpose:
• Determine the repair required based on two standard profiles.
• Define of the block size distribution to be used depending on the sea conditions.
• Define the techniques used to repair the various profiles.
• Estimate the cost of the work per profile.
• Define, for the Contracting Authority, the cost of the operation so as to determine the impact of the work on the users.
• Prepare a technical manual describing the work to be carried out.
• Determine the schedule of the works and the operation as a whole.
• Prepare the regulatory and administrative files for project realization.
